MOOT City is an experiential learning game that turns classrooms into living labs of civic engagement. Students step into the roles of stakeholders in a city - citizens, government, developers, financiers, and environmental advocates - grappling with the tradeoffs that shape real communities. Recommended for ages 14+, it is ideal for high school, college, and civic education settings.

Born out of doctoral resarch at Harvard University Graduat School of Design, MOOT City began as an experiment in civic imagination and has since grown int a powerful tool for education and dialogue. Our mission is to make civic learning engaging, inclusive, and accessible and help people everywhere imagine better futures, together.
